Standard Companion in
use as a Taxi in Cuba

The twin rear doors
are easily seen in this shot Ken
Ransom has given me these photos of a Standard Companion that he
captured in use as a Taxi in Cuba. My apologies that it has taken me
some time to publish them. Firstly, a Companion is unusual but one
still in use as a Taxi is is very unusual indeed. But what makes
this even more interesting is that it is the rarer version with 2 rear
doors. So that makes it the only six-door Companion on the Website
today. Until, of
course, someone sends me a photo of another one, which of course you
are very welcome to do. Thanks
for taking the time and trouble Ken, and my apologies for loosing your
contact details. Below: Is
it just me, or is the roof rack on at a strange angle?

Hopefully there will Companions at the
Standard
International Rally, could yours join them?
