The Nostalgia Show has
previously been held at Wroughton Areodrome, so the move to South Cerney
for 2003 was a new venture for the organisers. The Club decided to attend
and the two-day stand was organised by Ray and Di Ferris. Lynda and I were
able to attend just on the Sunday which was a bright if somewhat cold day.
The rain managed to keep off and the club also managed to put on an arena
display of a selection of our cars. The commentators, though knowledgeable
in most other marques, had no idea what they were looking at, so the
participants had to give a commentary for them.
A huge show with many
thousands of visitors, it was hard to get round it all in a day. We hope
that more members will support Ray and Di next year to this worthwhile
show.
