Report
on the
Berkeley Castle Classic Car Show and Antiques Fair
Bank
Holiday Monday 25th May 2009
This
report is republished to include photographs supplied by Allan Lewis,
Richard Bradley and Graham Lockley, thank you all!

We
had eight cars on the club stand - a good turn out
considering it was a late decision to have a stand at all.
Despite the early threat of rain the clouds soon cleared and
we spent the day in warm sunshine.
We
had on display a Swallow Dorretti, Vanguard Phase 3,1935 Ten
saloon, Flying 12, Selby,V4,
and two 1950s Ten saloons.

We
were given discounted admission to the castle which proved
very interesting, and worth doing (even if it was just
to sample the home made cakes in the tea room). There were
approximately 400 cars on display and several autojumble
stalls, in addition to the antique stalls
.
A
good show which we may well attend again next year.
