Club Car wins important award at the prestigious Alexandra Palace Show.

Club member Brian Parkes wins "runners-up" prize on the Club Stand at the London International Classic Car Show, held at the Alexandra Palace on the weekend of March 17th and 18th, 2001. The picture Brian enjoying a well earned glass of Champagne  with the Club Secretary, Lynda Homer who presented the prize on the Club stand. The winning car and the prize can be seen behind. Brian's Postwar Standard 14CD was one of two featured  cars on the stand and he was awarded this prize in the "pre-1960" class. The other car, seen in another photograph was  the black Phase II Vanguard, exhibited by Paul Robbins.
