1935 Avon Restoration

Phil Homer has sent us this report on his latest restoration project:

Here’s the first news of my latest project, that I have been working on for the last 18 months or so.

Its a 1935 Avon designed by Charles Beauvais. It stated life as a 10 but later had a 12 engine fitted. It had been off the road for 30 years and the engine was seized. I have had the engine rebuilt and have painted the car myself in this  fetching Cotswolds blue and cream. Hope you like it

You see as it's about to go to the Trimmers for a new hood, tonneau cover and side screens. When its back, I have the electrics to complete and the interior to refit. With good luck and a following wind it should be on the roads for the spring. More news later.
