Avon Standard 10 Special

1934 Avon Standard 10 Special

The Avon Standard 10 on the Road

Members Martin and Susan Croston are the delighted owners of the Avon Standard 10 which they have bought recently. First registered on 28th March 1934, the Commission  no is 163793 and the engine no is163540. The car has some non-original features but it's new owners are clearly already using it regularly as 

was intended,  as these shots of it show.

Specification of the 1934 Standard 10

4 cylinder sidevalve 1343cc, 63mm x 106mm cast-iron block and cylinder head, 4 speed gearbox, 12volt lighting and starting wheelbase: 7' 7".track 3' 10".
