Is this the same Standard Avon?

These two photographs of an unrestored Standard Avon, from circa 1934 have arrived on the webmasters desk, together with a third photo of a restored car. It is not clear to me if they are the same car. The unrestored car is BGN 60X but I have no idea of the registration of the restored car.  The unrestored car appears to me to be bigger, but that may just be a perception rather than fact.

If you are the owner of one, both or the same car, or know who the owner is, perhaps you would let me know so I can unravel the mystery, tell you the story here and return the shots to their owner.

This is not a competition and I don't know the answers!

Hi Phil

The car is in fact a 1934 Standard Avon 12HP Fixed Head Coupe, of 1465cc, first registered 31/07/34. The red car is the same car, restored. It is now repainted black, and on the road. Its full registration is BGN600.  I do not have the current owners details, sorry.

Have fun

Peter Lee

Thank you Peter. There are good photos of a similar car here. If anyone knows the owner, I would be grateful for a photo of the car as it is today to add to this page.

Phil
