Van from the Barr Family
The Vanguard Van working
in Essex

Phil,
With
the East Anglian Rally announced for Clacton on Sea, I am not sure
if you are aware, but my family lived in Essex, prior to the move to
Malmesbury in 1969.
My
Grandfather, who was also called Leonard Barr used to run a chain of
Radio and Television shops in Clacton and the surrounding area.
At one point in the early 1950's, one of the business vans was a
Vanguard Van.
A
copy of a picture is attached, which I am afraid is not very good
quality. It was taken somewhere in Clacton in the 1950's
This
was sent to me from one of my uncles, I have contacted him again to
try and borrow the original.
