Pickup Restoration
Just had a good look at the
site, very good.
I am restoring , with the help of
a friend who did his motor apprenticeship at a Maidstone
Standard dealer , a Phase 1A Ex RAF Pick up. This is owned by
John Shearman. The Registration Number is 321
FXO. It has been barn stored for 20 years +
Having renewed brake pipes
including master cylinder, king pins and rubber suspension
bushes.
Now on the engine, a total
rebuild, including new piston rings. The body seems fair
for its age, but some welding required.
