Baden Powell was a Standard fan
The Baden-Powells
with their 1913 Standard
We are already aware
that the Baden-Powell's were presented with a "Penny
Standard" as a wedding present, see this article.
I am indebted to Colin
Walker, who is the Author of an upcoming book on Baden Powell. He
has discovered that there were a number of Standards amongst a
collection of cars in the Baden Powell household. I am helping Colin
identify the models and shortly hope be able to bring you some
photos of BP with the cars.
Colin would like to
know if anyone in the Club has information or photos of Baden
-Powell's cars to make his book more comprehensive. If anyone knows
where the cars are now, that would also be most welcome.

title of "Jam Roll' - with strap line 'Baden-Powell:
