| Standard SLO4 Feature Article
A 1923 Standard SL04 has recently been unearthed
from a garage in Guisbourgh, Cleveland, where it has lain undisturbed for well over 20
years. Owner, Alan Halfpenny is now in the process of recommissioning the car for more
regular use. The photos show it to be in fine original condition. Having assisted Alan in
identifying what the car is, the Club is now helping him to, hopefully, retain the
original registration number, as the car has unfortunately never been registered on the
Swansea computer. Alan says that the car is from Batch 14, number 1303, The Commission
Number is 43700 and Engine Number is 43809.

It is good that such a rare car should
appear immediatly on the eve of our 100th birthday year. We hope that the car and Alan
will be able to attend one of next years celebratory events. We look forward to seeing
them. More details of ST100 are available on the site
