First registered in Essex on 2 March 1930 as VX 6722, it's current registration
number. The commission No is 101152 and the Engine No 101229.The engine capacity 1287cc.
Nothing is known of the car's early history until
1960/61 when it was restored by Messrs. E. Foulds, Motor Engineers of Keighley, Yorkshire.
It was purchased by G.L.Black also of Keighley in 1968 and was in his name until 1973. In
July 1995 it was offered for sale Smallbone & Sons of Birmingham. It was acquired by
Peter Jones of Aldershot in July 1996 and purchased from Doug Connell of Kenilworth in May
1998 by the Brown's of Raglan.
It is used regulary during the season being driven
to local events as well as the Standard National Rallies.The car is one of
two "Selby's" known to exist in the U.K. but it is not known if there are
any more worldwide.
