8's & 10's Featured Cars:

Allan Lewis in South Wales owns this fine collection of Standard 8's and 10's. You can click on any of the pictures to see a larger version. The cars are described in his own words:

Super 10

YSK was purchased from a Mr Tony Roach a club member from Witness about 18 months ago. My eldest son Ben, very kindly takes 'Bert' to the occasional local show to make our numbers up. Bert did attend with PNY last years West Midlands Rally

 
 

PNY 177 - This car was purchased some 5 years ago to encourage my wife to show an interest into these cars. This is also a 3 owner from new car. Both TKT and PNY attend about in the region of 14 - 18 shows a year. It still has its original 803cc engine.

 

 Family 8
Basic 8  

TKT 365 - I purchased the car for £100 pounds 22 years ago. She is a basic 8 model. She presently fitted with a 1300cc Dlomite engine. The increased power being needed for the towing of my stationary engine. I am the third owner from new.

 

YYA 13 - I bought as a non - runner some years ago to potter and play about wit. I am presently fitting a 1500cc triumph engine to give to a little more get up and go. I am presently waiting for Yasa Arafat the present Palisatian leader to make me an offer for the registration number (only joking).
