Standard
"Pennant" at work in Cuba

Phil
Just
got back from a weeks holiday in Cuba and whilst in Havana
spotted the attached Standard (or at least what was a
Standard). Not sure what model it was but it looks to be much
modified as the ride height appears to high.
Fabulous
holiday, its a must visit place for any old car enthusiast.
Kind

Thanks

Its a
Pennant at the rear, and so is the front panel, which means that the
front wings have been replaced at sometime with a pair from a Standard
10. It certainly seems to have replacement suspension, bumpers and
engine/transmission. Lets hope it gets some bodywork repairs soon!
The
import restrictions forced onto the Castro government means that most
cars of the 50's are patched up and are still running in Cuba, as this
example adequately demonstrates.
