Possibly
the best Standard 8 in the World?

Ron Harrison's Standard 8
It's an extravagant claim, and not one
that the owner makes for himself.
He is much too modest, so I will
do it for him.
Ron Harrison rebuilt this
Standard 8, it must have been about 20 years ago. Such is the work
that he continues to do on it that the car, in my view, is the
most perfect example surviving. Arguably, it is far better than the day it
left Canley.
This is a late model 8 with both an
opening boot and fold down rear seats plus a heater too! Ron has
recently added a new windscreen sealing rubber and a stainless
steel exhaust system, both supplied by the Club and described as
excellent value by Ron.
Anyone wishing to know exactly
what a Standard 8 should look like can use this as a reference.
