Newsomes of Coventry
In 1939, Newsomes of Coventry were a well
established Standard Distributor. The photograph shows their largest order ever of 100
Standard cars being driven out of the factory. It is thought that every trade plate in
Coventry was pressed into service on that day. Click on the photograph for a larger
version.
