Photograph taken at Overstone Park, Northamptonshire, 1947. It shows
(left) Betty Ridout (now Betty Hopkins) and (Right) Oliver Lovell
and his daughter Eileen Lovell (now Eileen Liggins)
Eileen bought her car new in June 1947 for £400 and passed her test
in it in September 1947. Betty bought her car earlier that year.
Betty was bridesmaid to Eileen at her wedding in 1948 and both
ladies are well and still driving.
My sincere
congratulations, ladies on the 60th anniversary of this photograph.
I can just make out that the car on the right has a "L"
plate on it. I hope that you are pleased to see yourselves here so
many years on.
