 Standard 14 Drophead Coupe

Standard 14 Drophead Coupe in Australia

Dennis Brookes writes from Australia about his Postwar 14 Drophead Coupe, which could be for sale:

Hello Phil,

1946 Standard DHC Engine ED340E .Body Commission built by Fishlow ED311

The car is in excellent condition. Absolutely no rust and mechanically sound. Upholstery is unmarked. Hood has one  small tear,approx.3/4" long.otherwise it too is in good condition.
As with most old vehicles there are a couple of faults, by far the worst of which is very sloppy steering, whilst it doesn't prevent me driving the car, it does require attention.

Other things are small cosmetic items which I will be happy to elaborate on if there is any interest. All in all very little needs doing to present as a top class vehicle

In dealing from this distance honesty is very important all faults will be enumerated upon request. Pricewise I have very little idea of what the car should fetch, so am open to reasonable offers.

Thankyou    Dennis.

As usual, if you click on any of the photographs below, an enlarged version will be displayed
