16 hp Spéciale being built in France
You
can already see the striking lines that Michel has achieved
Hi Phil,
Further to my phone call to
Brian, a couple of pictures of my Standard 16 partly panelled as
it is now. The body should be
finished by the end of March and I have then to completely
disassemble it for painting and final re-assembling.
Those photos were not shot in
my workshop, but at a friend's who is my panel
beater. Unfortunately my
own workshop is not always so tidy......
I intend to use it in July to go to
Le Mans Classic with a friend of mine and his 1928 BSA three
wheeler......
I will send you the story of the
rebuild with photos as it happens.
I am in need of an 18* wheel
for a spare, if anyone knows the whereabout of one, please
contact me through the webmaster. Le Mans is quite a long
way from home, so you can understand why I need a spare wheel
!
Best regards
Michel Mousset

Hi Michel,
I am glad that the club's
spares scheme has been able to help with this fascinating
project. It looks like you will have a good-looking and powerful
car. It helps to have a deadline for completion and I hope you make
it. Lets have the story of the trip to Le Mans as well as the
rebuild!
Good luck,
Phil Homer
