1934
Standard 9 in the Swiss Alps

Werner
Maurer sends us information and three photos of another Standard that he
has found in Switzerland:
The
commission number is: N9 ComNr. 310492 DL.
It
is a 1934 Standard
9 4 door LWB model, in roadworthy condition and it is in
the Kerenzerberg region, where no doubt this beautiful shot
is taken. Werner reminds me (he would!) that this is a
mountain pass, where our 1934 Standard 10 started to boil. (one of
the many times!) If we had known this other car was there at
that time, we could have stopped and been photographed together,
while our car cooled down! This Standard has been inherited
from the owners late father, who imported the car over 30
years ago. The problem is, that he has no
papers for this car, and needs them to be able to put it on
the road. The club will be helping him to do that by providing
photocopies.
I
am sure the owner will appreciate the help that he is given.
Here
are two more good shots of the car which you can click on to see
