Swiss Standard 9 Feature

1934 Standard 9 in the Swiss Alps

Werner Maurer sends us  information and three photos of another Standard that he has found in Switzerland:

The commission number is: N9 ComNr. 310492 DL. 

It is a  1934 Standard 9 4 door LWB model,  in  roadworthy condition and it is in the  Kerenzerberg region, where no doubt this beautiful shot is taken.  Werner reminds me (he would!) that this is a mountain pass, where our 1934 Standard 10 started to boil. (one of the many times!)  If we had known this other car was there at that time, we could have stopped and been photographed together, while our car cooled down! This Standard  has been inherited from the owners late father,  who imported the car over 30 years ago. The problem is, that he has no papers for this car, and needs them to be able to put it on the road. The club will be helping him to do that by providing photocopies. 

I am sure the owner will appreciate the help that he is given.
