Fan to restore this Ambulance
The Ambulance
before it's restoration
Tom Dolby, owner of
a Phase 1 Vanguard Estate is shortly to embark on another
Vanguard project. This time its the Vanguard Ambulance
photographed above and below. The above pictures shows what it
looks like today ( after cleaning!) and the photograph below is
what it looked like prior to 1987. As you can see the
Ambulance is pretty far gone, so hopefully Tom will be able to
restore it to its former glory.
Tom admits that he
is very busy, so the restoration will be slow, but he has promised
to take photographs as the rebuilt progresses and I will feature
them here as I receive them. He would also like to know what the
inside should look like. If you can help, please see here.
