Can you identify what this is?

OK,  so it is mid twenties and its definitely a two-seater Standard, but what is it?

From the front it looks like a 1925 "Charlecote" or a 1926 "Canley" (that's what the name plate says, but is it true?) That would be on the V3 chassis. Then again it might be a late  SLO4 chassis, in which case it ought to be a "Leamington"  Then, I look at the rear and its like nothing I have seen before. Do you know what it is?

Photographs digitally enhanced but will not benefit from greater magnification.

The car resides in India and is in the process of being restored by Deven Dilip Dhariwal. If anyone out there knows anymore about this car, please register on our messageboard and tell us more about it, or by email to Webmaster

I will update this page if I get additional information.

I am aware that there are other cars and information that could be added to this site to make it more comprehensive, so if you have material and photographs, please let me know.  Please send me, Phil Homer, a message at: Phil Homer
