on Classics on the Common, the October 2003 edition of Classic
and Sports Car features a full page on Werner and
his 1945 4/8A Drophead Coupe. He is one of around 1800

As this
magazine usually pays little attention to the
existence of the Standard marque, I hope this marks the
beginning of a change of Editorial attitude,
particularly in our Centenary year.
I
