New
Publicity Officer

Members
will be pleased to learn of the
appointment of a New Publicity Officer for
the Club. Darrell Cunningham is an active
member, founder of the New Forest Group of
the Standard Motor Club. and owns a prewar
Flying 8 Tourer. Darrell was elected to
the committee at the Annual General
Meeting of The Standard Motor Club on 31st
March.
The role
was previously filled by Steve O'Hara but
has been vacant since Steve moved to
become Editor of the Standard Car Review.
The main
role of the Publicity Officer is to
promote the Club and the marque as a whole
to the Classic Car Press. |
To
that end, Darrell will be pleased to hear of
stories of Standard Motor Cars and their owners.

Darrell
is also the organiser of the Standard 8 70th
Anniversary Rally at Beaulieu.
