Essex Exploration - Rally Report

Ian and Vera run a regular event in the East of England each year. This year the venue was the county of Essex and 30 members attended in a total of 15 cars.  The 3 day rally was based in two adjacent hotels in Clacton on Sea, from where we made a number of excursions to places of interest. The pictures tell some of the story, you can click on any of them to see a bigger version

The photos just give a flavour of places that the tour visited over 3 days and the fun that was had by everyone. All accomodation, visits and meals were arranged in advance by Ian and Vera, who also provided a beautiful souvenir illustrated tour guide and route instructions.

Ian and Vera are working on next years event, the destination will be central Suffolk. Places to be visited will probably include Framlington Castle, Cotton Music Museum, Bungay Otter Trust, Stoneham Birds of Prey Centre and an Historic Vehicles display. Look at the events list for information as it comes in. Numbers are strictly limited, and the event is thoroughly enjoyable, so if you want to attend, please contact Ian Leggett as soon as possible.
