Retired Swiss banker, Werner Maurer, well deserves a celebratory gin and tonic as he wins no less than eight prizes for his fabulous 1945 Standard 8 Drophead Coupe, the maximum number of prizes that could possibly be won by any one car at the Standard International Rally. Werner drove his 1945 Standard 8 the 1500 miles from Zurich and back again to collect the silverware. Hope you could explain yourself at Swiss customs, Werner!
