If proof is needed about our
thriving hobby, you should have been at this show held at the National
Agricutural Showgrounds at Stoneleigh. When we arrived about 10, there was
a huge entrance queue and the halls were busy all day. This show
concentrates on Spares stalls and on Standard/Triumph parts in particular.
These are the main attraction and the Club displays are more incidental.
Never the less, the Club was
able to put on a fine 3 car display
The stand comprised these cars;
-
Vanguard 6 Estate
(Charles and Patrick Brotherton)
-
Triumph 10 (Steve
Naylor)
-
Vanguard II (Ian
Leggett)
Fortunately, for the time of
year, the show is held in modern exhibition halls and there was even some
heating!
| A feature of the stand
was this illuminated garage sign that you can see in front of
Steve Naylor's car, and again here.
You can click on this and any of
the three car photos to get a larger version.
Our thanks go to the West
Midlands group
for putting themselves out yet again to make sure the Club is prominent at
this event. Here are the 3 participating cars, click on any of them to see
a larger version. |
