Larry and Margaret visit New Zealand
North meets South in Christchurch, New Zealand

Hi Phil, This photo was taken at The Groynes picnic ground at Christchurch during the recent visit of Larry and Margaret Bennett from Alaska.

Thanks Rick, the panoramic  picture is rather small but if you click on the individual cars you will see an enlarged version of that  portion of the shot:

Left to right:  Alan and Judith Bain's 1928 Gordon England bodied Standard, Trevor and Wendy Lightfoot's Standard V3, Dave and Sue Jenkin's 1938 Flying 12, Less Marshall's 1936 Flying Light 12,  Robin Pawsey, 1939 Standard 12c deluxe,   Rick and Josie Hill's 1963 Vanguard 6, Graham and Raquel Dryton's 1936 Standard 10,

 

Absent from the photo was Malcolm and Noeline Gibb's 1933 Standard Little 9 who arrived shortly after the photo was taken.

Good to see that you got so many Standards out to welcome Larry and Margaret. I can see Margaret to the right side of the picture,  but as I can't see Larry, so I guess he is behind the camera? Also there is a caption missing for one of the Flyers, let me have it anfd I will correct this page
