Views of the Goodwood revival
These photographs have been submitted by Member, Phil Gates and were taken at this year's Goodwood Revival. The Vanguard Phase 1 above was prepared by Ian Kellett for entry in the St. Mar's Trophy. There is more about this car and it's Transporter further down the page. The other cars race prepared and shown here are two Standard 10's and a Vanguard Vignale. I would be grateful for the stories of each of these cars and how they fared at the Festival. There is also a 6 cwt Pickup performing support duties. Hi Phil
Yes the Transporter was completed the night before we were due to set off to
Goodwood but unfortunately the driver who was bringing my phase 1 race car
down had some work commitments come up at the last minute and would not have
got down until Friday lunch time so I had to bring the race car and all our
gear - and the Transporter was left in the workshop, so it's public debut will
have to wait. Please find a couple of photos attached which will give you an
indication of how well it looks.
