Complete tunnel vision, and after another interesting road run. The MSTG group set a road run from the  Portland   Canal   Basin  in Ashton under Lyne, over somewhat hilly and bumpy roads. We crossed the  Huddersfield  canal on more than a few occasions, before we eventually arrived at the Standedge Tunnel & Visitor Centre. The tunnel sits on the banks of the historic  Huddersfield   Narrow   Canal , and was fully open to us on this occasion, with no repeat of the British Waterways water pump problem we experienced last year that shut the tour. The 17 cars were set out in the grounds for display, and thanks for those that helped make this an interesting day.
