Report on the New Forest Group's Christmas Meal

The New Forest Group of the Standard Motor Club held its first Christmas Dinner this year at The Star Inn where it has its meetings every second Tuesday in the Month thanks to the generosity of the Landlady. 

The normal members were joined by old members and members of The Sarum Moonrakers 1012 MGOC (Salisbury MG Owners Club) making up 16 in all. The weather had threatened to cancel the event, but thankfully it held off for that night. 

Members brought raffle prizes with them which helped raise £51. 

It is hoped to have joint runs throughout 2011 especially on 17th April which is National Drive it Day. Details will be published soon.  Everyone enjoyed the night and especially the Feast provided by the Landlady, Lesley & Staff.
