The Standard Triumph Day at Gaydon has now
become an annual event. Not only is it attended by hundreds of Standards and Triumphs but
on this occasion at least, several cars from the museums own collection were started up
and joined in the fun. The photographs concentrate on some of the Standards that attended
and the Standards that were brought out of the museum's collection.
The highlight of the proceedings was a multiclub concours,
one car was nominated from each club to go forward to a grand final. The Standard Motor
Club's representative was the 1957 Standard 10 Saloon, newly restored by Trevor Jones.
This was chosen by the judges as runner-up in the overall competition. Congratulations
Trevor, on your first time out.
