Change your Default Homepage:

Make www.standardmotorclub.org  your default "Portal to the Web".

Every time that you log in to your ISP, the Standard Motor Club can become your default Home page! And it's easy.

Are you bored with looking at your regular ISP's Home Page - I bet! Or, if you are at your desk at work, I bet you could do without that daily Corporate clap-trap.  No need to be so constrained. You can set your default page (the one that your browser logs on to at startup) to the Standard Motor Club Homepage, hurray!. We feed you with our regular news without having to search for it! What a rebel you are!

OK, you are worried that you might want to change it back in the future, but we can do that as well. "Why bother" we say!

The process is simple, just follow these 4 instructions ( You might want to print this page so that you can follow it.) Its easy, give it a try. And its easy to reverse.

Internet Explorer Users - follow this: (95% of browsers)

  1. Browse the Web until you are displaying the Standard Motor Club www.standardmotorclub.org Homepage.
  2. On your Browser's top toolbar, press "Tools", then "Internet Options".
  3. In the first section, called "Home Page", press "Use current" then press "OK".
  4. Its done! Next time you log on to IE, see the difference! To  change or reverse this setting, just click here.

Netscape Navigator Users - follow this: (the other 5% of browsers)

  1. Browse the Web until you are displaying the Standard Motor Club www.standardmotorclub.orgHomepage.
  2. On your Browser's top toolbar, press "Edit" then "Preferences"
  3. In the Second section, called "Home Page", press Use current" then press "OK"
  4. It's done! Net time you log on to Netscape, see the difference!. To change or reverse this setting, just click here.

Q. But,  I don't know which Browser I am using..................

A. Look on the top blue line on your screen.
