2003 South Cerney Nostalgia Show

Nostalgia Show moves to South Cerney Airfield

General View of the Club Stand at the South Cerney event on the Sunday

The Nostalgia Show has previously been held at Wroughton Areodrome, so the move to South Cerney for 2003 was a new venture for the organisers. The Club decided to attend and the two-day stand was organised by Ray and Di Ferris. Lynda and I were able to attend just on the Sunday which was a bright if somewhat cold day. The rain managed to keep off and the club also managed to put on an arena display of a selection of our cars. The commentators, though knowledgeable in most other marques, had no idea what they were looking at, so the participants had to give a commentary for them.

A huge show with many thousands of visitors, it was hard to get round it all in a day. We hope that more members will support Ray and Di next year to this worthwhile show.
