Indian Pennant Restoration Feature



Comprehensive Restoration of a Standard Pennant in India



The finished item


Karl Bhote has sent me information about this Pennant restoration in India. Rarely does a Standard get this thorough treatment and rarely do we have the privilege to see this level of detail, which seems to have been photographed on a daily basis.:


The subject matter seems to be pretty solid, if more than a little tired.


On strip down, of course, considerable areas seem to have been found that require huge patch repairs, an example of which is shown in the right hand photo.

However, this seems relatively minor compared to the metalwork required in the floor, sills and doors, as shown by the following photos:
