Raymond Mays V 8

Hi Webmaster

Here are a couple of shots of the Raymond Mays V-Eight Tourer currently being restored by a member. The Standard-built engine of 2686cc is shown here, removed from the car for rebuilding, which has now been completed. The owner says it sounds like a Ferrari! The car, the prototype  has a body by R.E.A.L of Ealing and has been completely stripped and repainted. You see it now ready to be sent to the Trimmers for restoration of the interior and hood. Terrific progress is being made, as you can see, and it is hoped to have this historically significant and rare  car back on the road very shortly.

Come back for more news.
