All have current New Zealand registrations and Warrant of Fitness (MOT) and are in running order. All have been used in vintage car rallies in New Zealand. They are:

(1) 1929 Fabric Bodied Exmouth side valve 6. Believed to be only two left in the world; 1 other is in Kent. (2) 1926 Doctor's Coupe, English V4 chassis, New Zealand-built body. Unique as far as is known. (3) 1924 Warwick open tourer with original handbook and some original tools. He believes only 10 of this model are left in the world. (4) 1927 18/36 Saloon ‘Gentleman’s Car’, all-leather upholstery. The only one left in the world. 6 cylinder overhead valve, power assisted brakes. (see upper photo on rear cover.)

He would very much like to see the collection stay together and will consider all offers over 100,000 NZ dollars, with purchaser arranging and paying freight.

Spares for sale

I have inherited parts of a Flying Standard 10 Coupe from my father. It was a restoration project going back 40-50 years that he never really started. There is the chassis with engine, gearbox, wheels, steering wheel etc but no body. I also have the dashboard and some other small parts (I am no expert!) in addition to a bit of paperwork. I am very happy for an enthusiast to have all these items if they may help with a project probably as spares. The current location of the car is South Manchester area near New Mills and I am located in Bedfordshire. Matthew Jones 07824 434126

My name is Peter Matchan. I've been bringing my Flying 8 saloon up to tip-top order, with much help I might say from Brian Parkes who has assisted in many areas. On its first outing in late February it shed a wheel and finished on its side. Needless to say the body damage was extensive. I am now looking for a body shell. PMatchan@aol.com
