Standard 8/10 Fuel Filler Neck Grommets

Those hard to find items are now with us, although ONLY 8. These are the rubbers that fit over the body and form a seal against the steel fuel filler neck.

The price will be £6 each inc post and packing.

Also a reminder that unleaded fuel causes the length of rubber tube between the neck filler section and the tank to rot. Outward appearance does not change but fragments of rubber are dispersed into the tank and will eventually find their way into the fuel pump and carburettor. Over the winter is a good time to take that pipe off and change it. We have stock and the price is £10 inc post and packing.

If you are ordering BOTH the above items together (first 8 only) you will be sent a fan belt FREE.

ENSIGN PARTS.

Following the very generous donation to the Club of a quantity of Ensign items these are being offered FOR COLLECTION ONLY to the first member calling me by telephone. The hardest part to secure for our vehicles are body panels, and as these are the same as Vanguard Vignale (doors with aluminium trim finish, and include the glass)) and these are in extremely good condition ie 4 doors, a bonnet and a boot, all with NO RUST, they should be snapped up. Included are two rear springs, a prop shaft, air cleaner, 3 large boxes of various parts and 3 Dunlop C41 Remould tyres (15") which look almost unused.

ALSO AN UNUSED FRONT BUMPER, with a few storage surface rust marks, but will only need re chroming if you want perfection. Also a new overrider with small storage marks and a good petrol tank. I will throw in a full factory parts list, factory workshop manual, instruction book, and a sales brochure.

The sale of these items will be used to purchase a collapsible display tent to make the Club stand at shows more professional and there is a need to cover the cost of hiring a trailer to collect the parts. SO THE FIRST MEMBER TO OFFER £300 AND ARRANGE COLLECTION FROM BURY ST EDMUNDS CAN OBTAIN. You will need a 4 wheel trailer about 10 feet long and 5 feet high to accommodate. Typical hire cost £25 per day, or a 1 tonne van (Transit/Vivaro/Boxer/Ducato etc)

STOP PRESS There is a full set of Ensign 1670cc Stanpart Pistons and Liners , as advertised at £200 in previous Reviews. For the successful purchaser of the above these will be offered for just an extra £100.

The value of items in the advert at replacement value is over £1,200. (If you can find them). The £400 for all the item listed will purchase the display tent required so you will get exceptional value, and the Club will benefit.

Thank you Graham for your generosity, (you know who you are)
