Bluebell Lives

Club members will be pleased to know that they now have an opportunity of seeing Bluebell, the Club's 1959 Standard Ten, Ford Scrappage Scheme survivor and Classic Car Weekly Car of the Year at the Practical Classics Restoration Show at the NEC which takes place from Friday 22nd-Sunday 24th March. Practical Classics magazine's March issue contains details of their plan to drive the car from Dundee Museum down to the NEC and display it in pride of place on their stand, which has been made possible by the DVLA having removed the "Scrapped" tag from the car. Now that it has sailed through an MOT it is once again defined as a car and is road legal and the Club's thanks must go to our Scottish representative Bob Alexander for all of his efforts. Not to be left out the Club will have two representatives of the 8 and 10 range on its own stand at the NEC, Shaun Russell's extremely rare pick up and Chris Muckian's very tastefully modified Gold Star 8. Tickets can be obtained using the Club's discount code on page 29 of the February Review and members are asked to book by the end of February to benefit the Club."
