Camber Sands

Ian Burt the clubs treasurer took the opertunity to accept the invitation that we received to show our cars and see the Dunkirk movie on Camber Sands.

There were a total of 5 period cars at the event Ians Flying 14, a Triumph Gloria, a Morris 10, a MG PA & Rover 12

The film was actually the ‘Restored’ version of the Original 1958 version of DUNKIRK”

Ian says ‘it turned out to be too cold for me so we left after ½ hour of the film, just as well as a road closure meant 20+ mile diversion around south Kent, so even though we left Camber at 20.45 it was gone 23.15 before I got home!

Ian’s friend Bob Kirk drove Ian and the car to Camber as Ian had just come out of hospital.
