The West Midlands Festive Lunch

In Late January, the West Midlands Group got together for their Post-Christmas Sunday lunch. 47 members and their guests turned up for the event at the Washford Mill, near Redditch where the function room was occupied by our party. Unlike recent weather the day turned out bright which was a bonus for some members who travelled quite a distance to be there. The food was good and the company was even better.

The event was organised by John Lawley, local organiser. In his post lunch speech welcoming all present, John particularly thanked the previous organisers, Alan and May Withey, who were also able to be with us on the day.

In response, Club Chairman, Paul Newsome thanked John for organising the Event He highlighted the importance of local groups to the well being of the Club. He also listed some of the events that the Club would be participating in over the year - not the least of which was the International Rally at the Stratford Manor Hotel on 24th-26th June.

The Webmaster was able to snap a few cars in the Car park and these are illustrated below. Click on any of them to see an enlargement
