Here is a report on the Sunday's events:
The day dawned very bright and continued the same throughout. More cars arriving on the rally field, everyone seems delighted with the venue. Cars neatly arranged in their classes and everyone swapping stories and spares for their cars. Also, a good turn out of Autojumblers with some suprisingly early parts, including, we spotted, panels for Rhyl's and SLO4. This is not the sort of thing we see every day! The photos tell the story.
The concours was a self-judging affair, that way the maximum number of people can get involved. We like to keep it light hearted though, there are no serious pot-hunters here! By 3.30pm, the judging was complete and all the raffle tickets sold, so it was time for the prizegiving ceremony. Someone has said before that there seems to be a prize for everyone, and though that certainly isn't the case (or I might have won one!) there certainly are quite a lot of prizes! You can see some of the prizewinners and/or their cars on this page
This report is necessarily brief, as I promised to publish it in short order. There will no doubt be a fuller report in the club magazine, so I point you to that in due course.
