Flying 10 Feature

Prizewinning Flying 10 at the Malvern Autumn Show

I seem to have been publishing lots of rustbuckets recently, so its a great pleasure to show you something that definitely isn't in that category.

The survival rate  for Flying 10's seems to be quite low. Either that or their owners don't get them out very often. Here is one that has been restored by its owner and is getting into the habit of winning prizes.

The photograph above shows its owner, Graham Hart, with a prize for 2nd place in the pre-1950 cars category at the Malvern Autumn Show. I also recall this car winning second place at last summer's International Rally. Graham hails from Warrington in Lancashire and is clearly keen to attend shows all over the country. Well done Graham.

Now, I am asking for your contribution to these pages:

Pictured below is another, different Flying 10. You will notice that it has running boards and the windscreen wipers are above the screen rather than below it. Perhaps someone will email me to tell me which is the earlier model and what other differences there are?
