Great Vanguard Article in French Magazine "Gasoline"

Michel Magnin, has sent me this full colour feature on the Vanguard Phase 1 and II that has recently been published in a French Classic Car magazine, Gasoline. It runs to six pages and is most comprehensive, covering saloons, estate, pick-ups, diesels and cabriolets, even the racing car transporter!. I believe much of the material used  must have been supplied by Michel himself, and much of which I haven't seen before, including the year on year production figures. Note in particular a proposal for a limousine shown in black and white on page five. How good looking is the car with that longer wheelbase?

I have reproduced the pages so that you can see the layout in the magazine. You can click on each of the six pages in turn in order to see an enlargement and to be able to read the text.

Well done Michel! You are single handedly responsible for raising the profile of the Vanguard in the French speaking world and we look forward to welcoming you and your recently restored Vanguard at Wyboston. Well done too to "Gasoline" for a most thorough and accurate account, I am grateful for your kind permission to reproduce the whole article.

Michel is bringing his beautiful Vanguard from Lyon in the south of France to be with us at the 51st International Rally. If you would like to join us, there is still time to enter by going here.

My apologies that the webpage production process does not allow me to align the photographs entirely accurately, as they would have been in "Gasoline".
