Thank you for your entries for the October Prize Competition.
Sadly, due to someone revealing the answer on social media, the October competition task was changed mid-month. Future Facebook posts will have comments restricted to make it fair to everyone.
Our question was what was this?
The correct answer was a Standard Junglebug (with Trailer) This was a prototype, light Army Personnel Carrier, designed to be dropped by parachute.
Drum Roll!
The Winner drawn from the correct answers goes to SMC Member, David Mileham!
Here is a better photo of the Junglebug. You can find more details about it here:
A gift Voucher to the Value of £20 is on its way to you, David.

This Aircraft was built by the Standard Motor Company. I will give you a clue – it is NOT a DeHavilland Mosquito.
A £20 Voucher that can be used against any purchase from the Standard Motor Club’s WebShop, will be the prize.
So, please send your entries to identify this Standard-built aircraft to phil.homer@btinternet.com
The Competition will remain open throughout November and the winner will be drawn on December 1st
You can see everything that the Voucher can be used against by using this link www.standardmotor.club
