A Standard Wedding

Ray and Julie Horne at the wedding of their son Nathan to Louise Frost, pictured in front of their newly restored 1937 Standard 12 Drop head Coupe

Also pictured are the three Standards with the happy bride and groom.  The Flying Eight and the Phase II took the bridesmaids and female guests, including the bridegrooms mother Julie, to church.

Ray Horne had completed an engine rebuild and resprayed his car himself, in readiness for his son’s wedding.

The weather was very kind to us on the day and the bride and groom were even able to travel to the wedding reception with the hood down, which was also great for photo’s.

The bridesmaids travelled to and from church in our 1947 Standard Flying Eight driven by Chris and Julie, mother of the bridegroom and us ladies arrived in style, in Ray’s Phase II Vanguard driven by Steve Troake.
