More Avons to covet!

Both of these cars have featured on this website before, but we re indebted to Mr Dushyant Singh for this photograph of them together for the first time.

To my mind these Beauvais-designed Standard Avons are the most well-proportioned cars that Avon produced in the 1930's. Behind is the 16Hp six cylinder 4 seater Tourer belonging to Nitan Dossa  and in front is Jittenda Rathorne in his 10/12 4 seater Tourer. The cars were appearing at the Cartier "Travel  in Style" Concours held in March in Dehli. Travel in style you certainly would in either of these cars.
