Mrs Black's Personal Transport - an SS Jaguar Special designed by Captain Black

In 1939, John Black designed this Razor-edged saloon based on an SS Jaguar chassis, that Standard were building for SS Jaguar at the time.

This article in the "Autocar" speculates whether Standard/and/or Jaguar might go into production with the idea. Of course the war precluded that notion but Sir John didn't forget it. Do you notice the similarity of this car to the Postwar Triumph Renown Town and Country Saloon?
