Additional Falmouth Rolling Chassis

1934 Standard 9 - in need of restoration.

Lots of engines, parts and bodywork as detailed

This collection of cars and parts is under threat of scrappage and needs to be sold to a good home urgently.

Selling for the grandson of the original owner. It is located on the Isle of Mann and needs to be recovered from there.

1928 Falmouth: Isle of Man registered and has been off the road since 1956. Been dry stored but requires full restoration. Comes complete with another complete rolling chassis, less body for spares plus a load more. Both have Isle of Man logbooks. See the spares listing lower down.

1934 Standard 9: to go with it also. This is complete but the chassis is very tatty, we are told.

Parts: There is with the car; 3 spare engines, 3 front axles, 3 rear axles, 3 radiators, 3 bonnets, 2 chassis with Manx logbooks, 3 steering boxes, 15 wheels and tyres, spare doors, fuel tanks, instruments, 3 really good interiors, 2 sets of glass, wiring looms, grilles, plus lots more etc.

Offers around £1000 for the lot. But it's more about the home than cost.

Will need a wagon to lift all and not cheap for the ferry (£1500 ish).

Must go ASAP. But be warned, the ferry is expensive and you will need a 7.5-ton recovery truck and a van and trailer to collect everything as there are so many spares.

The main car still has 1 owner on the logbook, also the original bill of sale, all original literature and the car has only done a genuine 2110 miles from new!!

Was displayed in the 1957 Golden jubilee TT car extravaganza and was voted 1st place for the best car. Last time the car was out! Still got the rosette and trophy on the rear seat from that event.
