1950 Standard Van

Mark Denton, Vanguard Collector extraordinaire, has known his 1950 Vanguard 12cwt van, FRX 308, since 1976.

He takes it for an MoT to Park View Motors at Finchampstead, and that has happened every year since MoTs were introduced.

The Van is part of Mark’s fleet of 6 Vanguards and is presently registering just 38,000 miles.

A few pics are attached - notice the external bulkhead mirror.

There is a Vinyl centre panel on the roof, an original dash sticker, headlight lenses, and 1950’s lino floor mat in the load bay.

The Bucket seats and tools are all original!

The Van is too nice to touch so will be kept in this remarkable original condition.
